Brazing Rings

To order please specify the following:
•  Quantity
•  Alloy
•  Wire Dianmeter(I.D.Ring or O.D.Ring)
•  Gap
•  I.D.Ring(max.)
•  O.D.Ring(max.)/ O.D.Ring(max.)
•  Helix(max.)
I.d.(Inside Diameter) Rings- specified when the brazing ring is to pre-placed on the outside of a tube.Little or no ga is preferred to allow the ring to expand and fit tightly on the tube without a substantial absence of filler metal in any area.

O.D.(Outside Diameter) Rings- specified when the brazing ring is to be pre-placed on the inside of a tube or fitting.A gap is required to allow the ring to contract and fit tightly inside the coupling without overlapping.

Helix- On I.D.Rings. Helix is kept to a minimum to facilitate automatic loading and prevent tangling

Partial or Multiple Turn Rings are available upon request.

Tolerances can often be held more tightly than the indicated standard tolerances at additional cost. This information must be specified on the original order

Drawings are not mandatory, but are preferrred.

Packaged in polyethylene bags, overpacked in corrugated carton, approximately 20,000 pieces per container(depend on ring size). Each box specifies the exact liquidus temperature on phos/copper alloys.

Mandrels(Do wels) O.D.ring are aavailable on mandrels to prevent tangling.Extra charges depend on ring size and quantity.
